TIM RYAN & JENN GIMENEZ

Tim Ryan and Jennifer Gimenez are a dynamic duo, both individually and as a united force in the realm of addiction recovery and mental health advocacy.

Tim Ryan, a recovering heroin addict, is a recognized national thought leader on the opioid epidemic, addiction, mental health, and suicide. His journey is the subject of the A&E documentary “Dope Man,” and he has been featured in major media outlets, authored the bestselling book “From Dope to Hope,” and earned recognition as one of the Top 100 Visionary Thought Leaders in the world.

Jennifer Gimenez, a supermodel and actress, shares a parallel journey of recovery. Overcoming the pitfalls of a fast-paced Hollywood lifestyle and her own drug and alcohol demons, Jennifer reclaimed her life and career. Now over 18 years sober, she is a prominent advocate for addiction and mental health, featuring on TV shows like VH1’s “Sober House” and “Celebrity Rehab,” as well as major networks and social media platforms. Her commitment to helping others navigate addiction, eating disorders, and mental illness has positioned her as a leading voice in the substance abuse recovery world.

Together, Tim and Jennifer have not only found love and support in each other but have also become a formidable force in the fight against addiction. They co-host the top-rated podcast “The Tim and Jenn Show” and work as interventionists, assisting families worldwide. Their joint venture, “From Dope To Hope, LLC,” seeks to end the destructive cycle of addiction, one day at a time and one life at a time. Through speaking engagements across the U.S. and abroad, they tirelessly spread a message of hope, recovery, and aim to break the stigma surrounding the epidemic of addiction. In 2019, Jennifer was featured on the cover of Recovery Today Magazine, solidifying her role as a feature writer for the magazine with her own column, “Jennifer Gimenez – The Real.” Collectively, their stories and advocacy efforts aim to make a lasting impact on individuals facing similar challenges, providing a beacon of hope for those seeking a path to happiness and recovery.

About Oaks

Why We're Here

Oaks Recovery was founded in 2015 because we had a vision of a world where recovery is rooted in all our lives, families, and communities.

We’ve experienced the destructive impact of addiction, but we’ve also seen the hope and healing that recovery brings. Our programs and services offer a safe, positive environment where individuals can find that hope and healing.
